We will have communion in the services today. Communion here is only for believers.

We will have IBF Café this Tuesday at 10:30a.m. Ask Ueda-san for more information.
 
 

We will have Praise Night on March 1st, at 6:00p.m.  Those who would like to serve on the worship team, please come and join!
 
 

A Bible study for men age 30 and over will be held after the first service next Sunday.

・The IBF Board discussed the matter of parking because of the increased charge at JA parking lot.  We want to keep 3 spaces there and try to  find new spaces in another parking lot.  Please pray that appropriate spaces will be available for our church.
 

・It’s time to submit yearly reports and to discuss plans for the new year starting in April.
All the leaders of ministries and small group activities at our church, please write a report and a plan  and submit them to Pastor Ino. We hope to share those together.
 
 
 

・Accounting report for January is on the board in front of the restroom. Thank you for your offerings to support our church.

・Pastor Jay Haworth and his wife Ellen left Japan for America on February 14th. We deeply appreciate them for the cooperation they have offered for a long time. 
 

・Shota left for Australia to study for two years. Let’s pray for his learning to be blessed.
 

・We will do monthly cleaning of the church building this Wednesday from 1:30 to around 3:00p.m.
Why don’t you get some exercise with our pastor?
We will have Power-Up Night prayer meeting at 7:00 p.m.
Everybody is welcome.

・Last Tuesday ,on February 11th, the annual Covenant meeting was held at Covenant Seminary.
They decided to adopt a ministry system.
We will have more chances to make use of the suggestions and wishes from local churches as Covenant missions.
IBF hopes to plan a camp for elementary school students as well as an English camp with other Covenant churches.

・Pastor Jay Haworth is with us for the message at first service today. He and his wife Ellen are leaving Japan for America on February 14th. Let's bless them with a potluck lunch and a freewill offering. We deeply appreciate them for the cooperation they have offered for a long time. The lunch will also be a farewell party for Shota.

Tatsunori Konishi attended IBF board Meeting as one of the candidates for IBF Board last month. Pastor Ino, Steve, Pat , Fukuhara-san and Aki are current IBF Board members.
Mark Tan resigned the board at the end of last December because of his work.
We thank Mark for serving on the board for several years.

There will be no second service at IBF in the afternoon today. Tokyo Area Covenant Conference will be held at 2:30p.m. at Hatsuishi Church, and some of us will attend. Journey and Youth Session will be held at IBF in the afternoon. Those who will stay for those, please talk to Aki or Jordan.

Next Sunday, on January 26th, Tokyo Area Covenant Conference will be held at 2:30p.m. at Hatsuishi Church. The main speaker will be Pastor Hajime Hori, a specialist for mental care. The theme will be “Feeling relief, joy and grief with others”. There will be no second service at IBF in the afternoon. Please ask Pastor Ino for more information and sign up if you would like to go.
